USA 2016 Election causing Stocks to Plummet in Asia!

Recently in Asia stock shares have fallen quite dramatically as potentially attributed to the 2016 american Presidential election. South Korea dropped 1.3%, Australia dropped 1.5%, Japan dropped 1.4%, and China dropped 0.2%. There were some other neighboring Asain countries that also reported to have dropped.

This did not only happen in Asia though. This trend is equally occuring in America! Wall Street reported an average drop of 0.7% all around. Why do you suppose this is happening and being correlated to the presidential race? What does this mean for the future of America?
