Spencer Cox Favored to Be Utah's 2020 Governor!

​UtahPolicy.com stated that the unscientific straw survey from its own readers and also "political Insiders" count on Cox to be the top choice for its Beehive State's top public official.

The political news website said among its Republican and Democratic insiders, in addition to its readers, Cox was front runner but added beyond that, "there is very little consensus."

The site stated that former Speaker of the House Greg Hughes has been selected by 11% of those Republicans on the brand new poll panel, which is the same number of Republicans who picked "someone else".

Other results included:

• 9% of the Democrats who responded for the survey selected present Gov. Gary Herbert.
• 6% of Democrats think the next governor will undoubtedly be a Democrat, while the same number say Hughes will soon likely be elected next year.
• 5% chose businessman Greg Miller.
• Provo businessman Jeff Cunningham was the second choice among UtahPolicy.com Audience, followed closely by Hughes.
• Published accounts of President Donald Trump's ambassador into Russia along with Utah's former governor, Jon Huntsman Jr., potentially filing for candidacy in 2020 have not officially been confirmed and not taken into account during the teaser survey, the online site mentioned.
